Richard Bueno
Head Instructor

Born and raised in San Paulo, Brazil; Richard began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 1995 under Grand Master Pedro Hemeterio, a 9th Degree Red Belt under Helio Gracie. Richard also trained with the Machado brothers, Fabio Gurgel and Pedro Sauer. During the 2004 Pan American Championships, Richard won a Silver Medal. He recieved his Blue and Purple Belts from Pedro Hemeterio and his Brown and Black Belts from Pedro Sauer. Richard also trained in Kick Boxing and Capoeira with Maestre Suassuna. Richard has been instructing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 1997.

Brian Ogule
Head Instructor

Brian began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 1998. He received his Blue, Purple, Brown and Black Belt promotions from Pedro Sauer. Brian has competed in and won numerous BJJ tournaments in and around the state of Arizona. He won a Silver Medal at the 2001 Pan American Championships. In addition to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Brian has studied Muay Thai. Brian has been instructing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2003

Dusty Alexander
Senior Instructor

Dusty began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 1999, At the 2004 Pan American Championships, he won a Gold Medal followed by a Bronze Medal at the World Championships. Dusty lived in Brazil between 2005 - 2007 where he trained under Fabio Gurgel and Flavio Behring. In 2006 & 2007 Dusty was invited to compete in the Brazilian Team Championships and was undefeated. Dusty recieved his Blue, Purple and Brown Belt promotions from Pedro Sauer. Dusty played football at the University of Arizona and was an Arizona High School State Wrestling Champion. Dusty trains Muay Thai, Senshido, Hiraido Jujitsu 2nd Degree Sensei, Ryuseiken Batto-Do 2nd Degree Sensei and has been instructing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2004

Joe Solorio
Senior Instructor

Joe began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2003 under Richard Bueno & Brian Ogule. He received his Blue Belt in 2006 & Purple Belt in 2008. Joe won Gold (2007) and Silver (2008 & 2009) medals at recent Pan Am Championships. Joe was head wrestling coach at Pima Community College (1998-2007) and the 2002 NJCAA National Coach of the Year. Joe was a two time NCAA National Qualifier and two time Pac-10 Medalist at Arizona State University, an NJCAA All American at Phoenix College and an Arizona High School State Wrestling Champion at Sunnyside High. Joe has been grappling since 1972 and instructing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2007.

Mark Christian
Senior Instructor

Mark began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2003. He recieved his Blue Belt from Charles Allen, Richard Bueno and Brian Ogule in 2005 and his Purple Belt from Charles Allen and Dan Lutz in 2008. He recieved his stripe promotion from Richard Bueno and Brian Ogule in 2011. Mark has competed in numerous tournaments and won Gold at the 2011 Grappling X Championships. Mark has been instructing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2009.
